A Copyright grants the creator of an original work an exclusive right for its use and distribution. A copyright protects the original expression of an idea, but not the underlying ideas themselves. Copyrights are not only important for the music industry, publishing sector, visual arts, architecture and the film industry, but also for companies who have questions about the design of company’s websites or the use of music.
